COAL MOB: LIVE AT HYDE PARK BOOK CLUB

To say that Coal Mob's headline show was much anticipated is an impressive understatement. Hyde Park Book Club hosted one of the best nights of Independent music scene in the city.
The show- a single release party for their sophmore track "Ceiling" - was a showcase of incredible potential from the Leeds-based band.
From th elighting spec to crowd engagement, it felt like more than just witnessing a local band play a local venue. The audience LOVED every minute of it. There was sweaty chaos and unhinged dancing from beginning to end.

And with that, Coal Mob's capability of handling a crowd.

The music speaks for itself: catchy lyrics, aware and never superficial; the tightest drums and bass you'll hear in Leeds, soundscaping synths and vintage sounding guitars, everything about Coal Mob's music makes you want to have more.
Their debut single "Bounce" was definitely the highlight of the set, where a crowd composed of every age and gender danced like no tomorrow.
Coal Mob are a perfect example of what Leeds has to offer: the very best of independent music. Altough we doubt hey'll remain independent for much longer, Coal Mob will deliver arena-worthy performances even in your mother's basement.
